Siobhan Smith
PRACTICE MANAGER
Siobhan has more than 15 years of experience in managing performance and services across all aspects of Virtuosum and is perfectly placed to share her insight and experience with patients. Siobhan prides herself on persistent improvement in the management of the practice and patient outcomes, however, her favourite part of the job continues to be the effect that an amazing smile can have in igniting and changing a person’s life.
Emily Rohr
TREATMENT COORDINATOR
Emily completed a Certificate Ill in Dental Assisting, before joining the Virtuosum Team in 2014. Emily has fulfilled many roles at Virtuosum, including Chairside Assistant, New Patient Coordinator and Treatment Coordinator.
Emily’s meticulous attention to detail along with her excellent communication skills, ensure that our patients enjoy a friendly and professional treatment experience.
Emily is passionate about supporting our patients through their treatment journey.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, exploring hidden walking tracks around Victoria, going to the gym and seeing musicals.
Renee Phillips
TREATMENT COORDINATOR
Renee completed her Cert 3 in Dental Assisting in 2001 and worked in general practice for 3 years. She commenced working in specialist practice with Dr O’callaghan in 2004, where she has fulfilled many roles including chair-side assistant, inventory manager, SureSmile coordinator and treatment coordinator. Renee also completed her Cert 4 in Dental Radiography in 2007. She’s passionate about her attention to detail and enjoys close interaction with all patients.
Kate O'Loughlin
DENTAL THERAPIST
Kate joined our dynamic therapist team in 2014 after receiving her oral health therapy qualification from LaTrobe University. Kate’s interest in dentistry began at a young age when she came to enjoy her own dental visits. She’s passionate about sharing that joy with the patients she encounters here at Virtuosum Orthodontics where she helps to create amazing smiles.
Duncan Lu
DENTAL THERAPIST
Duncan is a highly trained and valued member of our team. After receiving his bachelor degree in Oral Health in 2011, he won the Oral Health Research Prize for his article “Access to oral health care for homeless persons: are dental health professionals a barrier?” He spent two years training in the oral health public sector in South Australia and working as an oral health therapist in private practice.
Stacy Cairns
NEW PATIENT COORDINATOR
Stacey commenced working as an orthodontic assistant in specialist practice with Dr O’callaghan in 2007. Completing her Cert IV in Dental Radiography at Ingenuity Institute in 2010, Stacey is a senior team member. As the new patient coordinator, her dedication and attention to detail are outstanding. She loves meeting patients and their families for the first time and helping them start their orthodontic journey.
Rachel Iacuone
NEW PATIENT COORDINATOR
Rachel commenced working with Dr. O’Callaghan in 2021 after completing Certificate lll in Dental Assisting in 2015. As a New Patient Coordinator, Rachel excels at making our patients experience at Virtuosum relaxed and enjoyable. Rachel continues to develop her impressive skills, which include chair side assisting, compiling patient records and helping to create amazing smiles!
When Rachel isn’t at work, she can be found snowboarding and playing footy in
the winter and wakeboarding and going away to the beach in the summer.
Maddie Bosch
Dental Assistant
A people person, Maddie joined Virtuosum in 2022 and enjoys all aspects of her job, especially working alongside such a vibrant crew. Maddie is extremely compassionate, with a desire to help people and focus on patient centered care. As Maddie has had braces, it gives her great joy to assist our patient’s positive change in their lives through Orthodontic Treatment.
Maddie completed her Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting in 2016 and has previously worked in General Dental for 6 years. In 2022, Maddie also completed a Diploma of Nursing.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending music festival and camping
Lucie Ganas
DENTAL THERAPIST
Lucie started working with Dr O’Callaghan at Virtuosum Orthodontics in 2022 as an Orthodontic Assistant. Lucie’s bright and bubbly personality has made her a popular member of our Clinical team and a favourite with our patients.
Lucie loves the Virtuosum team spirit and making each patient’s visit a fun and enjoyable experience.
When Lucie is not working, you will find her actively pursuing her love of snowboarding, horse riding or relaxing with friends and family.
Tara Weeks
DENTAL THERAPIST
Tara started working with Dr. O’Callaghan at Virtuosum Orthodontics in 2022 as an Orthodontic Assistant and is an integral part of our Clinical team.
Tara started in General Practice before joining the Virtuosum team an finding her passion for Orthodontic treatment and oral health. Tara enjoys interacting with patients, especially those who start treatment at a young age, striving to make it a truly enjoyable and fun experience.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys being active, spending time with friends, watching movies and listening to music.
