EVERY SMILE

We’re extremely proud of the range of talent and experience possessed by our specialised team. Our team consists of Dental Therapists, a Treatment Coordinator, Chair Side Assistants, a Practice Manager and administrative staff. All the staff maintain and update their skills through regular, quality continuing education programs. Dr O’Callaghan is firmly committed to being up-to-date with all new orthodontic advances and maintaining an excellent, well-trained staff.

Siobhan Smith

PRACTICE MANAGER

Siobhan has more than 15 years of experience in managing performance and services across all aspects of Virtuosum and is perfectly placed to share her insight and experience with patients.

Siobhan prides herself on persistent improvement in the management of the practice and patient outcomes, however, her favourite part of the job continues to be the effect that an amazing smile can have in igniting and changing a person’s life.

Emily Rohr

TREATMENT COORDINATOR

Emily completed a Certificate Ill in Dental Assisting, before joining the Virtuosum Team in 2014. Emily has fulfilled many roles at Virtuosum, including Chairside Assistant, New Patient Coordinator and Treatment Coordinator.

Emily’s meticulous attention to detail along with her excellent communication skills, ensure that our patients enjoy a friendly and professional treatment experience.

Emily is passionate about supporting our patients through their treatment journey.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, exploring hidden walking tracks around Victoria, going to the gym and seeing musicals.

Kate O'Loughlin

DENTAL THERAPIST

Kate joined our dynamic therapist team in 2014 after receiving her oral health therapy qualification from LaTrobe University. Kate’s interest in dentistry began at a young age when she came to enjoy her own dental visits.

She’s passionate about sharing that joy with the patients she encounters here at Virtuosum Orthodontics where she helps to create amazing smiles.

Duncan Lu

DENTAL THERAPIST

Duncan is a highly trained and valued member of our team. After receiving his bachelor degree in Oral Health in 2011, he won the Oral Health Research Prize for his article “Access to oral health care for homeless persons: are dental health professionals a barrier?” He spent two years training in the oral health public sector in South Australia and working as an oral health therapist in private practice.

Stacy Cairns

NEW PATIENT COORDINATOR

Stacey commenced working as an orthodontic assistant in specialist practice with Dr O’callaghan in 2007. Completing her Cert IV in Dental Radiography at Ingenuity Institute in 2010, Stacey is a senior team member. As the new patient coordinator, her dedication and attention to detail are outstanding. She loves meeting patients and their families for the first time and helping them start their orthodontic journey.

Mandy Chu

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Mandy joined the Virtuosum team as an Administrative Assistant in 2023. With a huge smile along with a delightfully easy going and friendly disposition, Mandy enjoys being one of the first people to greet our patients. The warm interaction and seeing their wonderful smiles at the end of treatment is a highlight. Mandy is fluent in not only English, but Mandarin and Cantonese.

Prior to joining Virtuosum, Mandy was a qualified Makeup Artist, and has a vast knowledge in all things beauty.

Mandy is a self-proclaimed food enthusiast and outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, going to different cafes, the movies and restaurants.

Emily Rohr

PATIENT COORDINATOR

Emily is the New Patient Coordinator at Virtuosum Orthodontics. Emily’s attention to detail is outstanding and she is passionate about watching patient’s progress through their treatment and supporting them every step of the way.

Emily has completed a Certificate IV in Practice Management and a Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2012. Emily worked in General Practice before joining the Virtuosum Team in 2014, where she has fulfilled many roles including Chairside Assistant, New Patient Coordinator and Treatment Coordinator.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys playing football, holidays, camping, hanging with family and friends.
